EXMINT is a condensed, theoretical training and costitutes one of the first learning components for neurointerventional ischemic stroke treatment. EXMINT cycle comprises two 5-day courses, including lectures, small group tutorials, debates, and tests. Students who pass EXMINT 8.1 and EXMINT 8.2 are eligible to participate in the final examination to receive the European Diploma in Ischemic Stroke Intervention. The course is endorsed by ESO and CIRSE.

Face-to-Face EXMINT FAQ
Online EXMINT FAQ
1. To participate in the face-to-face EXMINT course, log in is required
– Log in to www.askaret.cz using your login details.
– Click on “Order EXMINT X.2”.
– Choose a payment method.
– Pay the amount.
2. What will happen after paying the course fee?
– You will receive a confirmation of payment to your email address.
– If you are from a country with a visa requirement in the Czech Republic, send the following information to askaret@post.cz:
  • Date of birth
  • Passport number
  • Passport validity
  • Date of stay in Prague (if you want to arrive earlier or leave later)
– We recommend submitting this information before the end of the first cycle of the course. Visa processing may take longer. An invitation letter and confirmation of accommodation will be sent to you only after receiving complete information.
3. Information about the venue

– The course fee covers accommodation from Monday to Friday.
– Accommodation is provided in double rooms, for each person separately. If you would like to extend your stay or stay with an accompanying person, these additional costs are not covered by the course fee. You can arrange the accommodation of an accompanying person directly at the hotel reception.
– To extend your stay, book online via: orea.cz/en/hotel-pyramida (book Classic room) and under Special requests mention “EXMINT X.2”, so you don’t have to change rooms.
– You will not be able to check in to your room until 2 pm CET on Monday. You may leave your luggage at reception and collect the room key during a tea break or after lectures.
– Check-out will be on Friday morning.
– The hotel has a strict non-smoking indoors policy, which must be adhered to. Any additional hotel services (telephone, mini-bar, or other services) you will pay on-site by cash or debit/credit card.
– All meals during the course are included and take place in Hotel Pyramida. The first meal is Monday lunch; the last meal is Friday lunch. If you have any dietary requirements, please inform us by email to askaret@post.cz. During the entire stay, vegetarian and Halal options are available.
4. Technical requirements
– The final tests on Friday are computerized; we ask you to bring a laptop.
5. The European Diploma in Ischemic Stroke Intervention (EDSI)

1. To participate in the EXMINT course, registration is required
– Click on the “Sign in” tab.
– Fill in the required information and submit. You will see: “Registration was successful. A password to access your account has been sent to your email.”
– After receiving the registration email, confirm via the link in the email. To log in, use the login information from the email.
– Click on the “Courses” tab and select the course to buy.
– Choose a payment method and pay the amount.
– If you cannot pay by credit card, you may pay by bank transfer. An invoice will be issued by ESMINT for an administrative fee of €20. Send your request to askaret@post.cz, including billing information.
2. What will happen after paying the course fee?
– You will receive a confirmation of payment by email.
– If another entity pays on your behalf, still register with your own name and email. A confirmation of payment with other billing data will be sent to you upon request to askaret@post.cz.
– On www.askaret.cz you will find a link to download study materials (usually a week before the start of the course).
3. How to join the course?
– The only way to connect to the online EXMINT course is through www.askaret.cz.
– Use your user name and password to access. Then select “Online Stream” or “Archive” in the menu.
– It is not yet possible to find an online stream on the website. This option will appear on Monday before the course starts. You can watch recordings from Monday evening.
– The option to watch recordings ends on the day of the diploma exam the following calendar year (usually early May).
– All times listed on the site, program, and instructions are in the CET time zone.
– The technical requirements for transmission: PC or laptop with a webcam, quality internet connection – speed min 2.5 Mbit upload / 2.5 Mbit download.
4. How is the course organised?
– Throughout the course you will have the opportunity to communicate with the lecturers via chat.
– Online attendance at lectures is not mandatory for successful completion of the course.
– During the course you will pass two types of tests – daily tests and a final exam. The daily tests will be at the end of the program on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Participation in daily tests is not mandatory.
– To successfully complete the course, it is mandatory to take the final test on Friday at 10:00 am CET. Technical preparation for the test starts on Friday at 9:40 am CET.
– To participate in the diploma exam, the average of both final test scores must be above 60%.
– You will receive the result of the final test by email on Friday at 12:00 pm CET.
– The condition for receiving the certificate is to fill out the feedback form, which can be found in the “My Account” tab.
